We do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.

There are an estimated 2 million female victims of rape in California and 5.6 million women in the state have been victims of sexual violence other than rape. We work to support and empower all women. (CALCASA)
WOMEN
It is estimated that there are 3 million male survivors of sexual violence other than rape in California, and researchers have found that, in general, at least 1 in 6 men have experienced sexual abuse or assault, whether in childhood or as adults. (NSVRC)
MEN
Sexual abuse of an elderly person occurs when a perpetrator engages in any kind of sexual contact without the person’s consent. Some victims of sexual abuse are unable to give consent due to health conditions, such as dementia or Alzheimer’s. (RAINN)
SENIOR CITIZENS
One in 9 girls and 1 in 53 boys under the age of 18 experience sexual abuse or assault at the hands of an adult. Child Protective Services agencies substantiated, or found strong evidence to indicate that, 57,329 children were victims of sexual abuse in just one year. (RAINN)
