PRESENTATIONS

Teaches basic safety rules to apply to the student, parents, other grownups and classmates: (i.e.: stay with parents in public places, always ask parents before taking anything from other grown-ups, respect bubble space, etc.). Kids identify "Safe" people. Children are provided a list of safety rules to take home to share with family and create their own family and individual safety rules. Great presentation to invite parents and caregivers to be present and participate.

Defines the words" comfortable" and incomfortable", talks about different feelings, what to do when feeling uncomfortable.

Repetitive use of the word "NO' is encouraged during this presentation when given examples of various situations that do not agree with 'Safety Rules.' Information is intended to increase the level of comfort and ease when verbal communication is needed to express something is uncomfortable or undesired.

Points out responsible and safe internet use, the harms of misuse and how to handle dangerous encounters.
