![We’d like to give a big ‘Thank You’ to Andrea and Brian at DeafHope and Warren at Sound of Silence Interpreting for providing our September In-Service training. With services much like ours, @deaf_hope shared incredible insight and training for working with individuals in the Deaf/HOH and Deaf/Blind community. Brian-middle screen- is signing ‘access’. As September is Deaf Awareness Month, it’s a perfect word to remind us, as advocates, that all survivors need and deserve access to services. We are grateful to have partnered with DeafHope to learn more about access to interpreters, growing relationships with providers for best practices, and learning how allyship impacts Survivors.
