In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), Partners Against Violence is proud to launch our very first online auction.
This special auction features four unique pairs of jeans that have been creatively embellished by survivors and advocates with meaningful messages of hope, strength, and support for survivors of sexual assault. Each design represents resilience and serves as a powerful reminder of solidarity.
Why We Choose Denim?
Since 1999, Peace Over Violence has led Denim Day, a powerful global movement to support survivors and challenge harmful attitudes about sexual violence. This campaign began after a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court to overturn a rape conviction because the victim was wearing tight jeans. Justices stated that she must have helped the perpetrator remove them, thereby implying consent.
By wearing denim on Wednesday April 29th, we take a stand against victim-blaming and commit to fostering a culture of respect and support.

Bidding closes on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 8:00 PM PST.
