With Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) less than one week away, our agency is gearing up for impactful events and initiatives to raise awareness and strengthen community engagement. We invite you to stay connected and take part in our upcoming activities. Whether you’re a Survivor, an ally, or someone looking to make a difference, there are many ways to get involved. Here are some impactful ways you can take action this SAAM:
JOIN OUR EVENTS:
Open Houses - Gain a deeper understanding of the support services we offer to Survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones, as well as our efforts in providing prevention education to the community. Join us at your nearest office location:
San Bernardino Office: Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Coachella Valley Office: Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Morongo Basin Office: Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
PARTICIPATE IN SAAM CAMPAIGNS:
SAAM Day of Action (Wear Teal Day): Tuesday, April 1, 2025
Start By Believing Day: Wednesday, April 2, 2025
Denim Day: Wednesday, April 30, 2025

EDUCATE YOURSELF AND OTHERS:
Read and share educational materials with others.
Teach others about prevention topics, such as consent, boundaries, and healthy relationships.
Request a presentation from us by emailing info@partnersagainstviolence.org
We offer a variety of topics that are tailored for professionals, schools (all grades), colleges and universities, and parents.
USE SOCIAL MEDIA FOR ADVOCACY:
Joins us in participating in the #30DaysOfSAAM2025 Instagram Challenge, hosted by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC). Throughout April, each day brings a new prompt designed to promote awareness, education, and foster connections with allies in the movement. Download the calendar here.
VOLUNTEER OR DONATE TO THE CAUSE:
Support Survivors directly by becoming a Volunteer at Partners Against Violence.
Purchase a shirt from our new Online Shop, to wear this month!
Donate to help us continue providing free services to Survivors of Sexual Assault and their loved ones.
Donate to our Prevention Program to help us create lasting change.
Remember, YOUR VOICE MATTERS and every effort counts. However you choose to take action this SAAM is meaningful towards creating lasting change and supporting Survivors of sexual violence.
