Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) 2024

As April unfolds, we at Partners Against Violence stand alongside millions worldwide to recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). As passionate advocates and volunteers committed to fostering safer communities, we believe it's crucial to shed light on this pressing issue and work towards prevention and support for survivors.

At Partners Against Violence, our mission is clear: to provide unwavering support to survivors of violent crime, their families, and our communities. With a team of dedicated advocates and volunteers, we offer comprehensive services at no cost to those affected by sexual assault and other forms of violence. We are proud to serve as a beacon of hope and resilience in the Inland Empire region of Southern California.

SAAM serves as a poignant reminder of the prevalence of sexual violence and the urgent need for action. It's a time for us to amplify survivors' voices, raise awareness about the pervasive nature of sexual assault, and educate our communities on prevention strategies and available resources.

As advocates for change, we firmly believe that violence is preventable. Through our collective efforts, we strive to cultivate a culture of respect, dignity, and safety for all. We advocate for policies that prioritize the well-being of individuals and promote a society free from violence.

This month, we're committed to engaging in meaningful dialogue, hosting educational events, and amplifying survivor stories. By coming together as a community, we can break the silence surrounding sexual assault, challenge harmful attitudes, and support survivors on their journey towards healing and justice.

To survivors: you are not alone. We are here to support you, listen to you, and empower you. Your strength inspires us to continue our work towards creating a world where everyone can live free from the fear of violence.

As Sexual Assault Awareness Month unfolds, let us unite in solidarity, compassion, and action. Together, we can make a difference and create a future where every person feels safe, valued, and respected.

In partnership and solidarity,

Partners Against Violence
